Police officers make genuine mistakes just like anyone else. Calling them bad cops for this is very much uncalled for. Also, most cops don't use lethal force unless they need to, which negates any bullshit "evidence" that you claim is out there as most people killed by the police needed to be killed. The few that are accidents or that could have been avoided are much less likely than getting killed by a terrorist.

Please tell me where you saw any incident of a cop shooting a family's dog for marijuana possession. I suppose you're simply the type that likes to pull stories out of his ass for the sake of an article.

"On top of that violent crime rates are at a four-decade low" Hm, I wonder why.

Sure there are police officers that are no better than common thugs and should be fired, but I would say they're the exception and not the rule. Most police officers are more or less decent at what they do.

You're completely biased and ignorant and from what I've read, you need a major wake up call and some serious perspective.Silverbackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01034986659999066413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5902064444279829460.post-4858691341820245892012-04-05T19:46:39.114-04:002012-04-05T19:46:39.114-04:00my problem with police is when they believe they a...my problem with police is when they believe they are soldiers and civilians are the enemy.Bearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15225918817109063843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5902064444279829460.post-18375099325766314202012-04-05T19:44:22.907-04:002012-04-05T19:44:22.907-04:00but he's the guy who killed hilterbut he's the guy who killed hilterBearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15225918817109063843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5902064444279829460.post-90459741461262169502012-03-31T13:38:56.939-04:002012-03-31T13:38:56.939-04:00Badly written and, frankly, childish article. You label cops as bad and soldiers as insecure, but I think both are a product of our society. If someone took it upon themselves to wander around enforcing all those little laws, yes, we'd find them to be an infringing bully. But it isn't like most police search the law books to find things they can bring you in on, or say, "Cool, I never knew everyone had to buckle up. Now I'm going to get you on it!" Cops are a product of the system, the system that sets speeding quotas to make money, the system that tells them what to do. Yes, they are responsible for their individual actions, but I see them as a symptom, not the disease. You are a libertarian and for freedom and small government. This, in my opinion, is a government problem, a problem with the law makers. They totally expect their laws to be enforced, which is why all cops enforce them. You don't obey the state, you aren't a cop anymore.

Maybe you are right and there is a problem with cops, but I don't think the beef should be with the people who are supposed to be our protection against our rights being violated. It should be with the system that doesn't care about our right to freedom in the first place.

Similarly, with the soldiers. I don't know if your psychological profile was correct. However, do note it is the government who chooses to continue the wars instead of keep them at home, again for our protection.

These are both professions strongly controlled by our government (I'm sure I don't have to remind you) and your posts seem to be attacking them on their own sake. Not necessarily saying you are wrong, just seems your target should be different.Linseyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09217257535834681778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5902064444279829460.post-22710221730363976092012-01-23T01:01:38.627-05:002012-01-23T01:01:38.627-05:00“Well, we’ll see who how much you hate cops after ...“Well, we’ll see who how much you hate cops after my cop friend saves your life!”
---------------------
To which I usually answer: If Adolph Hitler saved my life that would not make him an good or even an OK person.

You are a man after my own heart' Check out:
Good Cops and other urban legends.
http://tinyurl.com/7hg3jly

inalienablewrights@mailinator.comInalienableWrightshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02108700971976990644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5902064444279829460.post-65482748687060907532012-01-16T11:11:51.362-05:002012-01-16T11:11:51.362-05:00You have full permission to cross-post any of my o...You have full permission to cross-post any of my of articles.Austin Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01415200566109819177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5902064444279829460.post-60389161294181434812012-01-15T22:05:23.871-05:002012-01-15T22:05:23.871-05:00Solid write-up.
